Meet The Artist

I am a Tattoo artist based Vancouver. I specialize in black and grey realism, fine line, florals and Chinese calligraphy script.

Originally from Macau, I spent most of my childhood moving back and forth between Vancouver, Canada and Macau. My passion for drawing developed at a very young age when I was enrolled in drawing classes as extracurricular. From 2011 to 2020, I had the opportunity to train in the Lingnan style of traditional Chinese watercolour and calligraphy. Art and creating has always been a constant in my life.

After completing post-secondary, I pursued a full-time career in marketing which I quickly realized was not for me. I desperately wanted a job that would allow me to be creative and hands-on. In 2019, I had the opportunity to train under Michelle Tran, the owner of Meraki Beauty Bar where I was later hired on as a permanent makeup artist specializing in Powder Ombre brows. As a permanent makeup artist, I loved that I was able to help my clients feel more confident and beautiful. I wanted to help clients feel this way about their bodies as well. In 2020, I started to pursue tattooing. Becoming a tattoo artist has always been a dream and I am grateful everyday that I get to do this as a job! 

I am currently a resident tattoo artist at Opal and Ocean Tattoo located in the Willingdon Heights neighbourhood in North Burnaby. The address is 3724 E Hastings St, Burnaby, BC V5C 2H5.
