A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required to confirm an appointment. I set a flat rate for both flash and custom designs. For larger pieces that require multiple full-day session, it will be charged by the day. Click here to learn more about the pricing and process for custom tattoos.

I enjoy tattooing a wide variety of subjects. Anything that is nature-related with lots of intricate details and textures, animals, pet portrait oddities, antiques, plushies…I am always up for a challenge!

No, I do not tattoo anyone under the age of 18 regardless of parent consent.

Make sure to get plenty of rest, food and stay hydrated before the appointment. Feel free to bring food/drinks to the appointment. Wear comfortable clothing that will allow easy access to the area that will be tattooed. You are welcome to bring headphones, a book, tablet, a blanket, anything to help you feel comfortable during the appointment.

-Do not work out the day of your appointment
-Do not take any blood thinning medications (Aspirin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Fish Oil) 72 hours before your appointment
-Do not drink alcohol or caffeine the night before/day of your appointment (will cause excessive bleeding and sensitivity)
-If you are on your period, you can take 2 regular strength Tylenols 30 minutes before your appointment to avoid extra sensitivity and pain

Make vacation plans accordingly. You will need to avoid pools, sweating, salt water and sun exposure for at least 14 days after the tattoo.

Cover up projects are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Depending on the tattoo, I usually recommend clients to consider laser tattoo removal treatments first to lighten the tattoo before proceeding with a coverup. If you are unsure, please reach out to me with a photo of your existing tattoo at inkedbyvs@gmail.com.

I work mainly in black and grey ink. Occasionally I do use a pop of colour when requested by the client. I currently do not offer full colour tattoos.

I often get asked if I offer other permanent makeup treatments aside from powder ombre, and I do not. If you are interested in eyeliner tattoo, lip blush, nano brows, microblading, scalp micropigmentation, I highly recommend the other artists at Meraki Beauty Bar.
